A personal front page with routes into the whole community.
The wide layout balances personal prompts and messages with editorial content, network discovery and high-intent actions.

The same network remains coherent on a smaller screen.
Mobile layouts preserve the platform's hierarchy and actions across very different content types instead of reducing the product to a simple feed.
An alumni network should do more than store contact details.
BriefProject overview
The Lancing College work brings the Old Lancing community into a single signed-in experience. Profiles, connections and messages sit alongside the parts of college life that give people a reason to return: communities, photographs, events, sport, fundraising and careers.
The screenshots show a platform designed to work at different levels of intent. A member can scan a personal front page, search the wider directory, find people with shared context, join an interest group, discover an opportunity or contribute to a campaign without moving between separate systems.
01Identity with useful context
Profiles combine leaving year, house, sector, location, interests and connection goals so the directory can support meaningful introductions.
02Communities within the network
Sector, interest and house-based groups give alumni smaller places to gather, with discovery available through list, campus and world-map views.
03Reasons to keep returning
Events, sports results, careers, mentoring, news and fundraising turn the platform from a static directory into an active community service.
Connecting many alumni services through one member identity.
01Establish the member profile
Personal details, history, interests, career context and privacy choices create the base for discovery without assuming every profile should be public.
02Make the network navigable
Search, filters, recommendations and maps help members move from a broad directory to people and communities with genuinely shared context.
03Bring participation into the product
Events, messages, career opportunities and community membership turn discovery into actions that can continue inside the same experience.
04Support the wider college relationship
Sports, news and fundraising surfaces keep the current life of the College visible and provide clear routes for alumni to follow and support it.
A digital home for the life of the alumni community.
The Lancing College platform brings relationship-building, College activity and alumni services into one coherent interface. Its value is not any single directory or feed, but the way profiles, shared context and participation reinforce one another.
The project remains in development. The narrative on this page is intentionally based on the supplied interface evidence and can be refined as the final implementation scope and operating model are confirmed.
