About the role
You will contribute to live client products from the start, with clear direction and careful review from senior engineers. We are less interested in a long list of frameworks than in how you reason, debug, learn and turn a requirement into clean working software.
What you’ll do
- Build and refine well-scoped features across client products.
- Translate requirements and designs into readable, maintainable code.
- Test your work, investigate defects and follow problems through to resolution.
- Use AI tools to accelerate delivery while checking the result critically.
- Document decisions and communicate progress, questions and blockers early.
Skills we’re looking for
- Solid programming fundamentals in JavaScript, TypeScript or a comparable language
- A working grasp of modern web development and component-based interfaces
- Fundamentals of APIs, data modelling and relational databases
- Git, debugging and the basics of automated testing
- Responsible use of AI coding tools without accepting output uncritically
- Curiosity, fast learning and willingness to ask good questions
- Reliable written and verbal communication
