Complex application state, made clear and dependable.
The interface is visible evidence of the engineering underneath: long-lived state, locally available data and analytics derived from a substantial shared backend.

A serious mobile product needs far more than polished screens.
BriefProject overview
Locked In required LiteByte to work across the complete product stack: a React Native application, authentication and a large relational backend, resilient local state, subscriptions, AI and voice services, push infrastructure and direct access to native iOS capabilities.
The value of the work is the breadth it demonstrates. Product design, mobile engineering, backend architecture and specialist integrations were treated as one system, avoiding the gaps that appear when each layer is handed to a different supplier.
01Cross-platform delivery
A production React Native codebase supports a rich mobile experience while creating focused extension points for platform-specific work.
02Backend and data engineering
Supabase authentication and a schema of more than 60 tables provide a durable foundation for interconnected product features.
03Native and service integration
Swift extensions, device permissions, calendars, payments, camera access, AI, voice and push services are integrated into one coherent app experience.
Engineering each layer around the needs of the whole product.
01Build the shared foundation
React Native provides the main product surface while Supabase supplies authentication and the relational model behind more than 60 tables.
02Design for unreliable connectivity
Local caching preserves a smooth, usable experience with slow or absent signal, then reconnects the device to cloud data when a connection returns.
03Cross the native boundary
Custom Swift work enables interactive widgets, actionable Live Activities and Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time permissions.
04Connect the service ecosystem
RevenueCat, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Apple and Google calendars, camera access and behaviour-aware push notifications are joined into the product flow.
One data foundation supporting varied experiences.
A shared Supabase model and reusable React Native components allow new workflows to build on existing identities, relationships and event data.

The capability to deliver the entire mobile product stack.
Locked In demonstrates the range of mobile services LiteByte can provide: product architecture, React Native delivery, offline-first state, authentication and database design, native iOS extensions, AI and voice, subscriptions, notifications and device integrations.
For clients, that breadth means one delivery team can take responsibility from system design through production integration. The recorded engagement was delivered in six weeks for £6,000, compared with an £18,000 and eight-month traditional-agency benchmark.
“They built our full app ecosystem and it all just works together seamlessly.”
